Borozan Law

Borozan Law represents both employees and businesses across Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area — helping individuals protect their rights at work while helping companies manage the legal risks that come with running one. Our practice covers employment litigation, discrimination and retaliation claims, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, non-compete and trade secret matters, and broader business and commercial litigation, and every client gets a clear strategy from day one, with direct personal attention through document review, filings, depositions, negotiations, and court proceedings.

About Kevin Borozan

Kevin S. Borozan is the founder of Borozan Law and brings more than a decade of experience litigating the employment and commercial disputes that companies cannot afford to lose. Over eleven years with national and regional defense firms, Kevin represented domestic and multinational employers in single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, and class litigation in state and federal courts nationwide — including emergency injunctions and trade secret disputes, nationwide wage and hour collective actions, EEOC and state agency charges, labor arbitrations, and data privacy class litigation. He founded Borozan Law to bring that same caliber of representation to clients directly, without the layers of a large firm: businesses get a litigator who has defended their exact type of exposure, and individuals get an advocate who knows precisely how the other side builds its case.
Kevin’s practice spans employment law, business law, and civil litigation. On the employment side, he handles discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, and Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan law; wrongful termination and whistleblower matters; FMLA, leave, and accommodation disputes; wage and hour claims involving misclassification and unpaid overtime; and non-compete, non-solicitation, and trade secret disputes. On the business side, he handles breach of contract, fraud, tortious interference, and other business torts, commercial and consumer disputes, employment due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, and data privacy litigation — plus the preventive work that keeps disputes from becoming lawsuits, like workplace investigations, policy drafting, and management training.
For more than a decade, Kevin sat in the rooms where employers assessed their risk, investigated complaints, and decided who to let go. Today he puts that insight to work for the employees, executives, and small businesses throughout Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland. He opened his own firm to take the cases he believes in and to handle them personally, start to finish. Kevin listens first, explains the law in plain English, and provides clients a clear and honest roadmap to resolution — because a client who understands their options is a client who makes good decisions.

Kevin’s approach is practical, not reflexive. He assesses a client’s exposure honestly from the outset and tells them what a matter is actually worth, pursuing early resolution when that serves their interests — while preparing every case as though it will be tried, because the cases that settle well are the ones the other side knows are ready for trial.
